The AbbyBubba Story
Sarah Enright founded AbbyBubba Pet Care in 2024 to give herself relief from her terrible secret and make amends for past harms.
For almost 20 years, she endured guilt and anxiety from using old dog training techniques that taught her to be dominating with her dog Bubba.
She was angry and loud, talked in a deep voice, over-powered him with her weight, head collars, and tight leashes.
She tried her best to show him she was the boss. But it didn’t work.
He would still drag her to the ground, run away, take himself for walks, hump other dogs at the dog park, counter surf, steal people’s food…
She felt ashamed, frustrated and completely incompetent.
This uneasy feeling continued for another eight years as Sarah worked with other people’s pets and wondered if pet sitting, dog walking and training was right for her.
Even when she received over 100 five-star reviews her doubts lingered. Then she let all her pet care clients go to be an apprentice service dog trainer but quit in defeat two months later.
Feeling deflated and incompetent, in 2022 she went for equine therapy to “fix” what was wrong with her so she could restart her pet care business. Her counsellor suggested adding Tellington TTouch to her services.
Sarah’s first TTouch workshop talked about emotional, physical and mental balance.
They showed her intentional, gentle touch & body wraps combined with movement.
It felt right. Her confidence and hope grew with each lesson. Later, successfully practicing handling skills with the TTouch Harmony harness and leash system, and showing a few friends, convinced Sarah, this is it!
This is all she needs.
Now, she is deeply confident that her dream of being surrounded by amazing, loving animals is manifesting.

Holistic Pet Care packages and One-on-One Enrichment Workshops are also available for those who are deeply invested in long-term relationships with their fur pals.
Sarah’s unique education in Tellington TTouch and Pet Reiki allows her to connect with pets and people on a subtle level that most pet care providers haven’t considered.

Bubba was Sarah’s (Gemini) Labrador Samoyed cross. She kept this fun and incredibly annoying pup out of trouble for 10 years.
When he picked her and she took him home she knew she loved dogs... but she didn’t know what dogs love. Bubba taught her his way — with humility, patience and vitality.

13 yo Brindle Boxer
Abby was a beautiful brindle Boxer, Sarah’s first full-time dog walking client, in South Delta.
At 13 years-old Abby had many health issues including heart disease and severe arthritis. Remembering Abby’s slow determined enthusiasm fuels Sarah’s perseverance today.
